Telecom Engineer/Sr.Telecom Engineers (

Experience : 2 to 10 years

Required Skills :

· Fiber plant planning and design from Central Office (CO) to Nodes, Cabinets and customer premises. Planning of new fiber connectivity, capacity (present/future), clusters, active/passive elements, identification of termination points, topologies, calculation of fiber loss and other OSP related activities.

· Design of FTTx underground and overhead network elements such as ODP, Trench, cable routes.

· 2 -10 years of experience in the field of optical fiber networks planning and design from Telecom or ISP.

· Experience in planning for optical fiber communications, switching and transmission for distribution and access networks.

· Working knowledge on FTTx with xPON technologies would be given first preference.



Desirable Skills:

· Should have worked in Telecom/ISP industry in planning/operations departments on fiber projects as a planning engineer/Sr. planning engineer.

· Experience in Telecom designs in AutoCAD or Microstation or Smallworld or Spatialinfo or Network Engineer will be given preference.

· Should have experience in fiber distribution and access networks and its architectures/topologies.

· Should have worked on Telecom technologies such as PDH/SDH/DWDM/Metro Ethernet/xDSL for triple-play networks.

· Taking care of FTTx engineering activities such as network planning, design and creation of reports on GIS systems

· Fiber plant planning and design from Central Office (CO) to Nodes, Cabinets and customer premises in GIS applications.

· Pre-network study, engineering analysis, capacity planning, material calculations, and plan preparation of fiber access networks with different access technologies.

· Planning of new fiber connectivity, capacity (present/future), clusters, active/passive elements.



Qualification: BE / B.Tech / Diploma.
