Should have experience in design, architecture and implementation of large applications using Java and Java based frameworks.

Knowledge in banking domain is required, preferably corporate and investment banking.

3 + years in OOAD, Design patterns both GoF as well as J2EE design patterns and Architecture patterns.

Should be strong and have good working experience on some UI frameworks like Struts, Swing, AJAX based frameworks like GWT, Flex or JSF, EJB, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, iBatis.

Should have experience in performance tuning as well as addressing security issues in the application.

Fair understanding of web services using Java or open source ESB.

Expertise required in defining best practices, standards, design patterns and ensuring the same.

Should have leadership skills to drive the architectural discussions and experience in working with multi-cultural teams.

Effective communication of technical concepts, both oral and written is required.

Good knowledge in PL/SQL, Stored procedures in Oracle DB.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Understand program roadmap and guide project teams on best practices, standards, implementations.

Ensure that all the implementation done by various project teams is as per the technology blueprint.

Contribute in design, design reviews and code review audits of a group of projects to ensure that all deliverables are of high quality.

Co-ordinate with the central architecture team and work on shared objectives.

Proactively identify opportunities to create frameworks, define processes, areas of improvements and drive implementation.

Manage evaluations of new technologies; perform POC, feasibility studies.
