Mandatory Skill :
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in an IT or ITES industry is preferred, at least 3 years in a leadership position
• Should have minimum 5 years of Software Development/Testing experience.
• Prior offshore service delivery management experience combined with proven ability to manage a large number of resources with varying levels of skill sets and talent.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and project management skills a must
• Experience with implementation and administration of software development metrics
• Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner
• Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability
• Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (agile, iterative, waterfall) and contemporary software quality assurance processes (ISO, CMM, CMMi) and development tools
• Must have experience in managing and working with distributed team members
• Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication
• Exposure or experience with global software development centers is a desirable
Job Discription:
Associate Delivery Manager will be primarily responsible for Services delivery activities and Customer satisfaction
Top Activities and Responsibilities:
• Manage all relationships (with clients, team and internal groups) to ensure delivery constraints are met and any and all issues related to the shared support services are promptly resolved.
• Responsible for all aspects of Services delivery including customer interaction, escalation, communication, and retention.
• Other managerial and administrative responsibilities will include ensuring high employee productivity, attendance tracking, employee relocation, meals, transportation, and coordination with facilities and systems infrastructure.
• Ensures client specific induction and training plans are in place and executed
• Assists the various delivery teams during the on-boarding process by submitting relevant documentation and training resources on the process requirements.
• Implements and manages the project filing systems for all project documentation
• Assist the Senior Delivery Manager & the various Delivery teams in streamlining development, test and support functions
• Assist the Senior Delivery Manager in creating an overall culture of sharp & consistent execution skills
• Ensures adherence to legally binding requirements
• Establishes appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria
• Reports on project progress/costs and facilitates the development of recommended alternatives
• Advises the client on other IT opportunities that would add value to their business
• Coaches and advises team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues
