Job Title: Product Application Specialist

Job Location ; Bangalore
Responsibilities:

Provide Jobsite, Product and Application expertise to our target accounts thereby improved Caterpillar value proposition.
- Supports equipment sizing and application recommendations to assist in reduced O&O costs and improved machine performance based on production requirements, job conditions and operator evaluation of specified models.
- Subject Matter Expert in terms of product application knowledge base of a certain group of Cat models within the Heavy Construction Industry
- Responsible to develop and deliver product and application training to Customers, Dealers and Cat field reps
- Provide reports on competitive performance studies, feature/benefit comparisons and maintenance and repair cost analysis.
- Develop, support and train field reps and dealers in the use of Value Estimating Tool (VET) and other equipment analysis software.

Qualifications:

Good understanding of our target Customers - a Contractor's business model
- Civil Engineering Background preferred. Mechanical Engineering background may be considered with relevant experience
- Strong background in Equipment & Applications
- Exposure to Fleet Production Estimation
- Knowledgable in Operating Cost Structures and Jobsite Anlaysis
- Ability to execute a worksite project requirements

Desirable Qualifications:

8 to 10 years of Application / Project Experience
- Preferably worked hands on with road construction jobsites
