We are looking for a full charge bookkeeper. Experience must include bank reconciliations, AP, prepaids and accruals. Working with multiple companies a plus. 5 years experience necessary. This person will work closely with the CEO, President, and daily supervision by the CFO in the management of the bookkeeping, financial reporting, and performance measurement needs of the company. The ideal candidate will have a very strong bookkeeping and accounting background with the ability to ultimately take on more responsibility and develop new financial skills as we grow and expand beyond NYC. Primary Job Duties:

Journal entries

Accounts payable

Accounts receivable

Manage inventory and purchasing

Measure key performance metrics

Petty cash

Process payroll and time tracking records

Prepare bank reconciliation

Prepare month end closing financial statements

Maintain quarterly tax filings

Process sales tax returns

Requirements:

3 - 5+ years experience as a bookkeeper

Experience measuring key performance metrics

Experience preparing financial statements

Advanced Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint

Extremely high level of honesty and integrity

Good written and oral communication skills

Self starter who is detail oriented, highly organized and exercises a high level of discretion
