Overview:
The Developer will work primarily as a support resource to teams led by Consultants and/or Project Managers to meet goals and objectives as outlined in client contracts/agreements. The Project Manager for each project and the Manager of the Development unit will assign duties, track accomplishments, monitor and review performance of the Developer. The Developer will also assist internal IT staff with implementation, installation, and maintenance of systems and hardware. Special projects and internal projects will also be assigned on an as needed basis by members of management and senior associates.
The developer will be responsible for design, analysis, development, and implementation of upgrade/new data driven web based applications, as well as providing support for existing systems. Strong Transact-SQL and C#.NET programming are required. The senior programmer should be able to work independently and within a team of developers to deliver end-to-end solutions for moderate to complex projects; the candidate should be able to define and implement the software development life cycle utilizing existing development and source code version control procedures.

General Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, masters degree preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in using ASP.NET for developing Internet/Intranet based applications
• Experience in interfacing with corporate IT systems preferred, but not required
• Strong software development skills for web-based and n-tier applications. Experienced in the analysis and design of middle-tier components
• Experienced in the various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• A good understanding about object oriented analysis, design, and development
• Experienced in the analysis, development, maintenance and documentation of business requirements
• Web technologies experience: ASP.NET (1.1 & 2.0), ASP, COM, XML/XSL, HTML, VB Script, Java Script, DHTML, Java, Win32 SDK
• Databases: Experienced in database programming in SQL Server (2000/2003/2005) using T-SQL and Data Transformation Systems (DTS)
• Oracle and PL/SQL experience is a plus (not required)
• Development Tools: Microsoft Visual Studio.NET
• Operating System experience: Windows 2000/2003/NT/XP
• Programming languages needed: VB6, C#.NET,VB.NET, PL/SQL
• Web Servers: IIS
Physical and Location Requirements:
• Ability to work in the office on a regular basis
