Opening in Oracle's Software Configuration & Buid Management team

There's opening in Build management team, Oracle (Location: Bangalore).

Preferred skill as below:

 

 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING

·         Extensive experience in developing automation software for product builds

·         Extensive knowledge of various build engineering techniques like installanywhere, make, ant etc

·         Atleast 3-5 years of experience in compiling/building complex products in C/C++ and Java

·         Strong programming skills in Python,Perl and other similar scripting languages

·         Working knowledge of Relational Databases (Oracle) and MySQL etc.

·         Comfortable working knowledge on multiple platforms including Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-Itanium and HPUX

·         Fair knowledge of source code management system like CVS etc

·         Strong problem solving and multitasking abilities

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

·         Strong working knowledge of  Python,  XML, HTML, installanywhere is a plus.

·         Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices for software configuration management.

·         Thorough understanding of complete product software development life cycle.

·         Experience with PeopleSoft/JDE applications is desirable.
