The India PM Practice will provide Project Management Consulting and Management of customer IT
programs / projects in areas of project development, execution & control, project close and review.
Project Managers (PM) will be responsible for the overall success of the project and ensuring that the
Project Team completes the project. The Project Manager develops project plan with the team and
manages the team's performance of project tasks. It is also the responsibility of the Project Manager to
secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsor and Stakeholders. The Project
Manager is responsible for communication, including status reporting, risk management, escalation of
issues that cannot be resolved in the team, and, in general, making sure the project is delivered in
budget, on schedule, and within scope.
Job Requirements (Project Manager):
· 5+ years of IT/IT Infrastructure Domain Work experience
· A proven track record managing projects in a global IT Infrastructure environment
· Minimum 2 – 4 years of experience in Project Management techniques.
· PMP certification desired
· Strong Team and Project Leadership Skills across global teams
· Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to lead large services engagements
· Ability to use Microsoft office suite applications- Build project schedules using MS Office Project
· Able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Project Management tools / environments
· Knowledge or experience with ITL or ITSM methodologies and their practical application preferred
· Ability to work on problems / projects of diverse complexity and scope
· Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and
· select a solution
· Strong understanding of cost, schedule, quality constraints in complex IT projects
· Extensive global client interaction skills
· Proven ability to document scope statements, statements of work and create relevant supporting

· Strong awareness of effective change management techniques and practices
· Ability to facilitate communication among various global groups.
· Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues
Key tasks include, but are not limited to:
· Prepare Project Definition Document for the Customer Projects
· Work with the HP Customer to define project scope, schedule, and resource requirements
· Manage project implementations ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and
· performed as planned.
· Manage customer expectation ensuring project goals are being met, on time and within budget
· Work with HP Subject Matter Experts (SME) during the execution of the project in terms of project
· control, progress reporting, quality assurance, financial management, risk management and
· escalation.
· Develop and maintain best practices for project management implementation strategy.
· Work with the Solution Architects and Technical Consultants to prepare Work Activity Reports for
· Customer approval & billing
· Act as interface with the client project sponsor to ensure customer satisfaction with the project
· delivery
· Facilitate effective status communications between account teams and customers
Relevant Domain Experience
· Knowledge / Expertise / Certification of DNS, Data Center, Mainframe and Mid-Range

· Knowledge / Expertise / Certification of Voice and VoIP telecommunications and network
· Knowledge / Expertise / Certification Voice Networks (phone systems, call centers)

· Working knowledge of Aldea, MS Project, Word and Excel
Qualifications
· B.E preferred, not mandatory
· Excellent knowledge of the IT Infrastructure environment and its future trends
· Ability to communicate complex technical contents plainly and simply
· Strong consulting skills, flexibility and resourcefulness
· 2-3 years' experience in one or more of the following: UNIX, Windows, Network/Security, Eprocurement,
· E-commerce, CRM, Telecoms, IT Management, Data Warehousing,
