Indian graduates not finding jobs Abroad

Indian graduates find job offers here

Bangalore: Indian students abroad are worried at not finding employment there.Says Lathika Pai,CEO of Jobcorp,an employability solutions firm supported by the National Skill Development Corporation: It is a big concern for Indian students who are passing out of many American and European universities. They are left with no option but to return to India and look for employment here.

Chennai-based Shruti Gurumurthy did her BBM degree from a reputable university in London but could not find a job in the UK even six months after graduation.
I had promised my father I would repay the loan by working in the UK.But I eventually had no option but to return home.In India,I already have four job offers, she says.
Some 1 lakh Indian students go overseas every year for MBA,MS and undergraduate studies.A large number of them are in distress, and are returning home, says TV Mohandas Pai,chairman of Manipal Universal Learning. Pune-based Kavita Shankar could not find a job three months after finishing her MBA from a French university.
His father has already started searching for jobs for him in Bangalore.Aakars father has been asking me to find a job for his son, says Lakshmikanth of The Head Hunters India.
The bleak job market is also pushing countries to make their work permits for foreigners more restrictive. From April, the UK will be abolishing the Tier 1 (poststudy work) facility under which students could apply for an extra year of stay in the country to work.So the only option is to apply for work under Tier 2 or Tier 5,both of which are very restrictive.
