Job Description:
The role of the Information Security Engineer is to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot various Information Security systems, Perform vulnerability assessments and assist system owners with remediation. To Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies and procedures. To Research and assist in the design and implementation of Information security solutions. To Provide timely and accurate on-call support for security related issues and to analyze network traffic, identify threats and quickly develop solutions.

Mandatory Skills / Requirement:
* A minimum of 4+ years of practical Information Security experience
* Experience with complex network and communications implementations
* Experience with information security tools (vulnerability assessment, Symantec anti-virus, Cisco MARS, IDS/IPS, Websense Content Filtering)
* Multi-platform experience (UNIX, Linux, and Windows) is a plus.
* Must display willingness to accept responsibility, take initiative, use good judgment, and maintain a positive attitude.
* In depth understanding and experience in configuring and administering IDS/IPS, Cisco MARS, Websense Content Filtering, Symantec Anti-Virus and vulnerability assessment tools.
* Possess a good understanding of and the ability to administer SSL VPN.
* Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and other protocols including use of troubleshooting tools - resource kit diagnostic tools and packet sniffers.
* Experience with WLAN development, administration and security.
* Superior problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Excellent written/verbal communication skills
* Exceptional customer service, overall communication and technical writing skills.
* Demonstrate aptitude for providing exceptional customer service in politically charged environment.
* Excellent time management/Highly available/Punctual
* Possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and as part of international team of engineers.
* Project and task oriented
* Sufficient technical depth to communicate with other internal organizations at a peer level.
* Ability to multitask
* Be confident in actively participating in team support by proposing and implementing solutions.
